Abstract

The goal of this lecture is to introduce the club MODULEF. MODULEF gathers together people from industries and members of universities in order to conceive and realise a library of modules for finite element analysis. The purpose of the library, the methods, and a list of members are described in the first paragraph.

The present achievements which are already realized and those which have to be prepared are the object of the second paragraph.

The third paragraph contains briefly the software standards and the levels from which one may use the library.

The conclusion of this lecture is drawn in the fourth paragraph.
