Abstract

This paper presents the basic ideas and the technical background of the Esprit project HiPEC. The HiPEC Project aims at integrating HPCN technologies into an electronic commerce scenario to ease the interactive configuration of products and their photorealistic visualization by a high performance parallel rendering system.
