The Passau RAP System: Rapid prototyping for algebraic specifications

Abstract

The Passau RAP system provides machine support for the development of algebraic specifications formulated by conditional equations. The system has been developed at the University of Passau, partially sponsored by the "Sonderforschungsbereich 49 Programmiertechnik" at the Technical University of Munich and the ESPRIT project 432 "METEOR". RAP is in use since the end of 1984, a revised version has been released in summer 1986. There are a number of installations at other sites.
