Multimedia scenes in a database system

In this paper, we present an approach for multimedia scene generation in a database system. This approach is based on object paradigm for media and scene modeling. It is based, too, on a specification tool that consider temporal, causal and interaction relations. An appropriate temporal Petri net is automatically generated from the specification. The Petri net permits temporal simulations and executions of scenes.
