Abstract

In the present survey an attempt is made to systematize and generalize data contained in earlier technical and patent publications concerned with production of granulated thermosetting materials (aminoplasts) and its development trends. Also presented are the classification of the existing granulation methods and facilities and a comparative analysis thereof. Description is made of the results obtained in studying various technological features in the production of granulated aminoplasts by pelletizing with the aid of a plate granulator.

Consideration is given to the most promising technological systems in granulation of aminoplasts and types of facilities used.

An outline is made of technical solutions providing for commercial production of high-quality granulated aminoplasts.
