VPN on DCE: From reference configuration to implementation

This paper presents the results of the implementation of a Virtual Private Network telecommunications service prototype and associated management services on a distributed platform. The specification thereof has been carried out according to the RACE II project R2041 PRISM Service Management Reference Configuration. The implementation of the service prototype and its management has been achieved on an OSF DCE (Distributed Computing Environment) Platform.
