Stabilization of the order parameter fluctuations in spin glasses

Abstract

The negative value of the order parameter susceptibility found in simple mean field theories of spin-glasses is related to the negative value of the kinetic coefficent of the spin response function. The zero frequency limit of the self-consistent equation for the dynamic response function has a solution which differs from the spin-spin correlation function obtained from a static calculation. This solution gives the order parameter susceptibility a finite, positive value.
