Abstract

In November 1986 simultaneous GPS observations at 10 european VLBI and LASER tracking stations were performed within the GINFEST project. The observations were recorded during three days (322–324) using TI4100 receivers.

This paper presents some adjustment results of this network evaluated at the Geodetic Institute in Bonn. The computations have been performed using submitted Broadcast (BE) and Precise (PE) Ephemeris kindly provided by the Defence Mapping Agency in Washington. In order to keep the GPS internal scale factor unchanged no orbit improvement has been used in the solutions.

First comparisons between the different GPS solutions and LASER as well as VLBI results are presented.
