Abstract
In this paper, the existence of the local or global solutions for an abstract semilnear time—variant system is discussed under weaker conditions. The approximate controllability of the system is obtained in two case respectively and the results have improved that in some papers published recently. Some examples are also given to illustrate the applications of the results.
