Abstract
I started the book with a foundational history of chat AI because it makes it so much easier to segue into a discussion on how Copilot actually works, which in return will make it so much easier for you to learn it and maximize its benefits. Hopefully, you’ll also even learn some new ways to use the apps that you may not already know about. As of this publication, there are now even multiple versions of Copilot for both enterprise and home users. While this book focuses on the enterprise version, I’ll be going over the differences of each version in detail in Chapter 4. But long before Copilot arrived, Microsoft has been at the forefront of intelligent user interfaces created to assist its users.
