The factors of paramount importance to guarantee organizational success are its employees and their supporting aspect for each other. This chapter assesses quantitative and qualitative literature on co-worker support. On the basis of literature review, we established a framework to understand co-worker support research. The areas of emphasis of co-worker support research such as organizational context, association with supervisor support, individual, interpersonal and team characteristics, motivational factors and mental health circumstances are identified in this framework. The theoretical frameworks applied is also discussed in this chapter, and it highlights the empirical research results. Furthermore, a discussion on incipient issues, future research avenues and pragmatic implications on co-worker support for resilience and flexible approach toward sustainability of employee and organizational are contemplated.
