Researching Factors Affecting the Entrepreneurship Intention of Graduates in Hanoi City

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors affecting the entrepreneurial intention of graduate students in Hanoi city. Data is collected from 343 graduate students living in Hanoi city. Using exploratory factor analysis and linear regression, the author found four factors affecting the entrepreneurial intention of graduates in Hanoi city, respectively: (1) family foundation, (2) financial ability, (3) entrepreneurial qualities, (4) entrepreneurship risks. The implication of this study is expected to be a great contribution in academia and an important document in improving the current entrepreneurship education curriculum.
