Abstract

Examining nature-inspired lightweight cryptosystems, this chapter discusses their emulation of natural processes for efficient and lightweight security protocols. Foundational principles are explored, along with quantitative assessments of efficiency and resourcefriendliness. The chapter discusses potential vulnerabilities, scalability considerations, and trade-offs between computational complexity, security, and lightweight design.
