Abstract
There is something significant to be said about life when reading through every chapter and working with every contributing author in this volume. In their subtle, poignant, and distinct ways, all the authors portrayed the profound depth of human existence through life-giving narratives of death-ful events. The underlying theme of all the chapters in this book, though diverse in context and textual and arts-based analyses, is that there is only one (non)musical life to live, whatever shape or form it has, individually or collectively, even through grand historical, national, societal, and sociological narratives.
