Abstract
The breast has had an important role in the feminine image, the large areolas are the reason why plastic surgeons are frequently consulted. We decided to make the correction by applying an areolar reduction technique to avoid recurrence of the widening.
The efficacy of this technique wherein a triangular wedge of tissue is excised from the areola is discussed in detail and the complications were minimal.
