Abstract

The goal of this chapter is to help the readers grasp the idea of human security. It should be mentioned that the concept of human security is gaining ground in the field of security studies as contemporary dangers like the economic crisis, climate change, terrorism, and pandemics put people’s lives in danger. Besides, this chapter has interpreted the idea of human security with the help of different theories of International Relations.
