Abstract

The chapter explores the utilisation of the Fourth Industrial Revolution as a means to accelerate the achievement of sustainable development goals. It specifically examines the role of digital financial inclusion in empowering women economically, addressing the challenges they face in accessing such inclusion in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Despite African governments’ efforts to promote inclusive economies through digital technologies, women's difficulties in accessing digital financial inclusion appear to be amplified.
