Abstract

The dose response of chemicals is fundamental in estimating the safe dose in their usage. In this chapter, it is shown that their relationship formulates the sigmoid curve, which has several characteristics to be explained. Furthermore, it is shown how to implement the health risk assessment of chemicals such as rotenone (insecticide) and simazine (herbicide), as well as dioxin.
