Abstract
Examination and case presentation of hip pathologies is almost a certainty in every orthopedic examination. Multiple exam patterns all over the world include patients with hip pathologies as long cases, in which AVN hip is commonly encountered by the examinees; however, it may be a two-edged sword, as the examinees are expected to know everything about such a case and simple mistakes can be costly. The viva voce can go into any depths and details; therefore along with the basics, routinely asked questions should be prepared for. The present chapter highlights such questions on AVN hip and gives an insight for better preparation and execution in exams.
