Abstract
Geopolitical dialectics mobilise the power of competing states in the partitioning of the earth, creating a nation-states system in the evolution of the human species. In the age of capitalism, human relations are dominated by two interacting totalitarian systems dominated by the expansion of US capital and the rise of the US as an imperial nation. The system of nation-state is in crisis because of growing inequality and uneven development. The national dynamics of economic and population growth are mobilising the dialectics of international and civil war at the core of every nation-state state. The ecological crisis, climate change and the arms race threaten the viability of the nation-state system, advancing warfare in the struggle among great powers. Australia’s viability as a nation-state is endangered by its integration in AUKUS. Citizens’ nationalism should be mobilised to gain control of the state, creating an independent and sovereign country.
