Abstract
A geopolitical approach framed in historical materialism to analyse the world crisis of US capitalism and the viability of the nation-state system, framing a progressive approach to avoid another world war. It argues that neither capitalism nor the nation-state system can survive the existential crisis of climate change without the renewal of a universal consciousness. US capital and militarism endanger the survival of the human species. Australia’s military pact with the UK and US (AUKUS) is weaponising climate change and Australia as a US protectorate state, leading to more regional and global conflict and proxy wars.
