Abstract

RedCap (Reduced Capability) is a 5G technology defined by the 3GPP standardization organization and belongs to the new technology standard NR light (New Radio lite). In June 2022, the 3GPP Release 17 standard has been frozen. RedCap is also one of the important features of the R17 standard. Based on the commercial network of Shanghai Unicom, this paper studies the access of multiple BWPs and multiple BWP users in Redcap, and recommends the typical network configuration.
