Abstract
Riding a motorcycle is an exhilarating experience, but it comes with its risks. In 2019, the National Highway Traffic. Safety Administration reported that motorcycle riders were 28 times more likely to die in a crash than passenger car occupants. A smart helmet is a wearable that can be used to enhance the safety of motorcycle riders. It includes features such as crash detection and wear detection, which can prevent the bike from starting unless the rider is wearing a helmet. It is also equipped with accelerometers, gyroscopes which help to detect crashes, and also connected with a GSM module chip which sends a message to important contacts and nearby hospital in case of emergency.
