Zusammenfassung
Das Kapitel beginnt mit einer Einführung in den Klimawandel, diskutiert globale Initiativen zur Minderung und stellt die Emissionen des Haushaltssektors in Indien in den Vordergrund. Die Literaturübersicht zeigt deutlich, dass es einen zunehmenden Trend zu Untersuchungen rund um Wohn- und Haushaltsemissionen gibt, und die Studien werden überwiegend in China durchgeführt, gefolgt von Australien und den Vereinigten Staaten. Die Literaturübersicht stellt auch eine Ähnlichkeit zwischen Wohn- und primären Haushaltsenergieemissionen fest, verschiedene Arbeiten in Zusammenhang mit Kohlenstoffemissionen von Haushalten wurden überprüft. Einige Forscher haben einen Clusteransatz verwendet, um regionale Haushaltsemissionen zu klassifizieren. Für Indien wurde jedoch sehr wenig Forschung betrieben, sodass Bedarf an solchen Untersuchungen besteht. Schließlich werden die verwendeten Datenquellen, die Datensatzvorbereitung und die ausgewählten Algorithmen vorgestellt, anhand derer eine Lösung für das Netto-Null-Ziel modelliert wird. Das nächste Kapitel behandelt die explorative Datenanalyse, die genutzt wird, um die Struktur und das Verhalten der Daten zu erklären, gefolgt von der Anwendung von unüberwachten maschinellen Lernalgorithmen zur Klassifizierung der indischen Bundesstaaten auf Basis ihrer unterschiedlichen primären Energiehaushaltsemissionen.
