Abstract

In this study, the authors measure the user experience level of mobile music applications. The four of most popular music apps in 2018, which are QQ music Kugou music, Kuwo music and Netease cloud music, were selected as the study objects, and 20 young participants aged 18–28 were recruited to take part in the user test in the laboratory. Based on two questionnaires and the designed usability test, the authors compared and evaluated the typical social functions of these four music applications, summarized the experimental results of these four music applications and proposed further improvements of user interfaces. The experimental results show that the interaction design of social function in QQ music app is ranked as the best among the four music apps.
