Abstract
Man is known for his sweet tooth and Craves for sweeteners in his diet from time immemorial. The neurotransmitters in the brain are pivotal organelle which decides our attitude and mood or how we feel. Food affects our neurotransmitters and people in general, turn to comfort food when depressed and tired or grumped [1–4]. Moreover, sweet food influences neurotransmitters more softly and provides elevated comfort and become cozy to body and mind [3]. Nowlis [4] recorded reflexive tongue movement to sweetness concentration in new born infant that in neonates of 6 h age, indicating an innate reaction to rather acquired by conditioning of learning. It is because in fetus itself, taste buds are developed by the 16th week of gestation. Hence it evinces why a child after birth is nourished with sweet liquid till mother’s milk become available for feeding and why human beings have everlasting longing for sweeteners.
