Abstract

Rifled tubes can enhance boiling heat transfer which is widely used in steam generator. When the working medium flows in the rifled tubes, it rotates under the action of the spiral rising inner threads. With the action of centrifugal force, the droplets entrained by the steam flow keep approaching the tube wall, and finally supple the water film.
