Abstract

Since the implementation of the vehicle purchase tax in 2001, car sales have grown rapidly in China, and the sales of small-displacement vehicles have been increasing year by year. Sales of small-displacement vehicles have a positive impact. Due to the rapid development of information technology, big data plays a key role in recording consumer preferences and consumption needs. This article collects car sales data on the Internet platform, uses a double difference model to perform regression analysis on the data, and finally concludes that after the cancellation of the purchase tax preferential policy, the sales of small displacement cars are indeed negatively affected.
