Abstract
A simplified model for fixed-bed hybrid bioreactor is developed for easily determining the output parameters like exiting substrate concentration in bulk liquid (Sw), average substrate flux in the biofilm (Javg) and effective as well as total biofilm thickness (Le and Lf).
