Abstract

This paper presents a solution methodology for fuzzy TOPSIS (technique for order performance by similarity to ideal solution) with hexagonal fuzzy numbers. In the paper rating of each alternative is represented by hexagonal fuzzy numbers. So, it has better and more accurate results in comparison with TOPSIS with triangular fuzzy numbers and other multi-criteria decision-making methods. For application and verification, a numerical example of the inequalities faced by women in the society is constructed.
