Abstract
This chapter introduces the smart Internet of Things simulation in wireless sensor networks using mobile agents. Compared to conventional data fusion in wireless sensor networks, mobile agent (MA) systems are better due to the intrinsic flexibility associated with MA migration. In addition, it has been shown that the data compression and fusion of MAs achieve better energy efficiency. This chapter covers the basic MA concepts and route planning as a critical MA issue. Classical algorithms for MA route planning are introduced, as well as smart Internet of Things simulation.
