Abstract

A method for synthesis of the complex compound by reaction of palladium ion Pd(II) with mercaptoethanol in solution and equilibrium properties at complexation have been offered. The synthesis of the complex of Pd(II) with mercaptoethanol, and the identification and study of properties among various polar and nonpolar solvents are conducted. The models for calculating the stability constant of the complex formed in this system, with Pd(II) are considered. Processing of the experimental data using the selected multi-parameter model equation may provide new information on the behavior of the complex under various conditions.
