Abstract

Anterior lumbar interbody fusion (ALIF) has been majorly considered as one of the surgical modalities of degenerative lumbar disc diseases [1–6]. Anterior access of the lumbar spine provides wide exposure of the entire disc space, which allows to evacuate all pathological disc material. The use of a larger cage is possible to enhance fusion success and restore disc height successfully.
