Abstract

Common prosperity is an essential requirement of socialism, and the development of people is the central goal for economic and social development. In his speech at a ceremony marking the centenary of the Communist Party of China, President Xi Jinping repeatedly stressed the people-centered philosophy of development, and particularly mentioned that “On the journey ahead, we must rely closely on the people to create history.”
