Abstract
Through continuing efforts committed in principle innovation and cutting-edge technology tackling, this Major Research Plan has promoted China’s manufacturing technology from the fields micro-manufacturing to nanomanufacturing, laid the foundation for China’s nanomanufacturing, and has played an important role in achieving the strategic mission in China’s manufacturing and exerting international influence in the field of nanomanufacturing. However, how nanomanufacturing can further serve China’s major strategies, solve the “stuck neck” problem, lead to the forefront of international research, and improve the originality and visibility of results is still a hot potato we are facing.
