Abstract

In the previous chapter, the manufacturing and fabrication of various sensors were described in various smart methods. This chapter discusses the testing of these sensors in the context of the AIAA application scenarios. We first did the basic performance tests from IEEE’s lab, and then we performed a few typical robustness tests requested by our AIAA’s colleagues. Finally, we did an infield test in the gas turbine lab with our AIAA comrades, a comprehensive verification of our TFTC sensor of the combined electrical, thermal, and mechanical strength performance under the tough the gas turbine engine working environment.
