Abstract

Law is not something abstract. Rather, it is deeply rooted in culture. It is constantly being formed and modified and adapted to new societal requirements and developments. Good ideas can be transferred from one legal system to another one, convincing concepts can be implanted and work in different environments, but that is rather the exception than the rule.
