Abstract
The sinonasal tract plays host to several neoplastic as well as non-neoplastic diseases, many of which occur in specific locations. A thorough knowledge of the anatomy of the region is also necessary for accurate description in reports and for staging of malignant neoplasms. This chapter presents a concise view of the anatomy and histology of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses that is of relevance to specialized head and neck pathologists as well as to the general surgical pathologist in the day-to-day reporting of diseases of this region.
