Gallbladder Cancer

Abstract

Gallbladder cancer is known to have diverse variation globally. The disease could be difficult due to delayed diagnosis, which results in the disease being diagnosed at an advanced stage and being incurable. Surgery is the only option to cure the gallbladder cancer for those patients who diagnosed at an early stage, in addition to adjuvant chemotherapy and radiation. In the present chapter, we will discuss the advent of minimally invasive techniques, laparoscopy, and robotics in the hepatobiliary surgery field.
