Abstract
Employment is an important means for poverty-stricken laborers to get rid of poverty. China has established a working mechanism for poverty alleviation through employment, and has continuously improved related policies and instituted a whole set of targeted assistance measures to help poverty-stricken laborers get jobs. Since the launch of the battle against poverty, workshops for poverty alleviation, labor service collaboration, public-benefit service jobs, skills training services, and other measures have all played a positive role in helping alleviate poverty through employment promotion and support. China has made remarkable achievements in the field, and the experience in targeted assistance, job creation, regional coordination, policy support, and other aspects are very inspirational for future poverty alleviation in the country and poverty reduction in other countries.
