Abstract
The middle class—this is a term that many Chinese people often hear, but few yet understand. There is no doubt that, in the process of China’s entering the ranks of middle- and upper-income countries, speeding up the historical process of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and implementing economic and social transformation, becoming a member of the middle class is one of the life goals pursued by the majority of Chinese people, except perhaps those who are already well-off economically.
