Abstract
The foundation of learning magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) lies behind understanding the basic principles of hydrogen nuclei and their associated spin within the human body. It is therefore very vital to understand these basics before discussing complex areas in MRI. This chapter throws light on some of the key inventions in the field of magnetic resonance imaging. A brief explanation about the basic principles involved in MRI along with its associated software and hardware is highlighted.
