Abstract
This Chapter intends to introduce the concept of quantum technologies briefly. Quantum computing, quantum key distribution, quantum sensing, quantum simulation, and quantum internet are introduced in separate Sections.

For example, from the eigenvalues of the time evolution operator \(\hat{U}_\textrm{t}=\exp \left( -it\hat{H}/\hbar \right) \), the energy eigenvalues are obtained. Here, \(\hat{H}\) is the Hamiltonian of the system.
