Abstract
In this book, we will discuss the rare earth materials which include the theory and application. We will introduce some important concepts in this first chapter, including quantum chemical basis, Schrödinger equation, electron configuration of atoms, valence bond, lanthanide family, multi-atomic molecules cluster, and molecular spectrum, and so on.
