Abstract
The development history of computer technology can be attributed to the history of the continuous pursuit and improvement of computing efficiency by human. Efficiency is reflected in two aspects: a shorter time to complete computing and fewer resources to complete computing. Since the birth of general-purpose computers, the architecture of computers includes two parts: hardware and software. A computing task is executed by unchangeable general-purpose hardware and changeable software. Hardware and software are two main lines of development that complement and promote each other.
