Abstract
Porcelain veneer treatment is a minimally invasive technique using acid etching-resin bonding technology and veneer restorations. In the porcelain veneer treatment, tooth reduction is performed only on the labial/buccal or incisal or proximal area of the tooth, and reduction is confined to the enamel layer or sometimes even not performed at all. Porcelain veneer treatment is commonly used in anterior esthetic restorations. Those restorations cemented on the occlusal surface are also called occlusal veneer, which are minority in clinical practice.
