Artificial Intelligence with Python

Abstract

Chatbots are programs that are capable of conversing with people trained for their specific tasks, such as providing parents with information about a school. This chapter will provide the skills required to create a basic chatbot that can converse through speech. Speech to text tools will be used to convert speech data into text data. An encoder-decoder architecture model will be trained using Long-Short Term Memory units for a question and answer task for conversation.
