Abstract

Macrotrabecular-massive hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a clinically important variant of HCC as its aggressive phenotype is associated with poor survival and early recurrence. We cover the salient histological features and the utility of some immunohistochemical markers. Amongst the molecular aberrations, FGF19 amplification is potentially druggable.
