Abstract
In a case of property preservation enforcement, a custodian should assist in enforcement on the subject matters subject to preservation in its custody on the request from a people’s court but should not be obliged to continue to keep such subject matters in its custody free of charge where such subject matters are nonmonetary chattels and the custody or site lease contracts for them between the custodian and the parties subject to enforcement are not renewed or extended after their expiry.
