Abstract

Whereas the most important domestic achievement of the First Yoshida Cabinet was the completion and promulgation of the Japanese Constitution, the most noteworthy feat of the Second Yoshida Cabinet was the conclusion of the San Francisco Peace Treaty as well as the Japan-US Security Treaty.
